The Story Behind Etisia
Why did we create the Etisia app?
It all started during lunch one day in our agency office when our programmer, Simon, had an idea. His mother, a salon owner, was constantly stressed about clients skipping appointments without notice. Despite her talent and loyal clients, missed appointments cost her time, money, and peace of mind. She used Google Calendar to manage her bookings, but it wasn’t enough to solve the problem.
After researching the market, we found that while there are many scheduling apps, things get complicated when managing multiple employees or locations. Most businesses struggle to combine phone bookings with online scheduling, and existing solutions often don’t efficiently handle both.
That’s why we built Etisia—not to handle the booking process but to automate client notifications and give them an easy way to cancel if needed. If a client cancels, you’re notified right away, giving you time to fill the slot and avoid revenue loss.
We wanted Etisia to be simple, intuitive, and so easy to use that you’d almost forget it’s there. With just a few clicks, you can set up automated reminders and let the app do the rest.
